Trust, but verify.
Trust must be earned. It should not just be given to people. Yes, it is earned; not just given.

As a business person, trust is one thing you would need to be able to delegate power to your team of workers.

To allow workers speak to the clients, hold the company’s assets, buy things, or carry out major assignments for the company, etc, you must trust them..

Any business person who doesn’t trust his or her workers would be limited in productivity and in other results. So, you must trust your people.

However, trust must be verified!
You must constantly, continually check the loyalty and “trust-ability” of whomever you have committed things into.

Don’t give anyone an automatic trust. Let them earn it by the way they handle all the business concerns in the company.

Human beings are fickle. People can be easily derailed. Therefore, you must constantly check whether the one with the power can still be trusted. Nothing like “lifetime trusted member or worker.”, Keep verifying to be sure whether the allegiance is still there..

Let everyone proves his or her loyalty by showing that he or she can still be trusted.
